My Favorite Fall Smoothie: Creamy Carrot Cake

If you’re looking for the perfect fall smoothie, this Carrot Cake Smoothie is it. It’s creamy, spiced just right, and packs in protein, fiber, and veggies in a way that feels both nourishing and satisfying. Instead of another pumpkin spice recipe, this recipe is a refreshing change to the fall lineup of flavors!

This Carrot Cake Smoothie has quickly become my favorite fall recipe. It’s sweet, creamy, and full of those pumpkin pie spices that make autumn feel so special—plus, it’s loaded with protein, fiber, and hidden veggies to keep you feeling your best.

Why I Love This Smoothie

  • Balanced flavor. The spices bring warmth while banana adds natural sweetness.

  • Veggie boost. Carrots and cauliflower rice blend in seamlessly.

  • Protein-rich. Protein powder and flaxseed help it keep you full.

  • Quick to make. Less than 5 minutes, start to finish.

  • Perfect balance. This smoothie has 24g of protein and 8g of fiber!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz unsweetened almond milk (you can use water or any milk you prefer)

  • 1 medium carrot, chopped

  • 1/2 frozen banana

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use Just Ingredients French Vanilla Protein Powder)

  • 1/4 cup frozen cauliflower rice

  • 2 Tbs ground flax seed

  • 1 tsp Pumpkin pie spice

How to Make It

  1. Add everything to a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Tips

  • For a thicker smoothie: reduce the liquid, add a few ice cubes or freeze your banana!

  • To increase protein: use 1.5-2 scoops of protein powder or add greek yogurt.

  • Add texture: sprinkle on chia seeds or walnuts.

Why This Smoothie Works

This smoothie has everything you need in one glass—protein, fiber, and nutrients—without being overly complicated. It’s filling, energizing, and a nice change of pace from the usual fall recipes. With carrots, cauliflower, flax, and warming spices, it’s a way to enjoy seasonal flavors that feels fresh but still comforting.
